VIFF is one of those organizations that likes to keep their brand and marketing presence very clean, simple and professional. The colour scheme is generally black, white and one solid colour accent. That minimalist approach to colour really lets the films be showcased in a striking manner, ultimately putting them in the spotlight.
However, I wanted to challenge their current style and add a little more fun to the marketing. Starting as a direct mail piece, I aimed to maintain the simplicity of the brand and reflect that in the graphics. I included promo code coupons that can be torn off the mail piece as a way to promote their festival promotions, as well as give a potential increase of attendees. 
And what's a film festival without a striking poster and tickets to capture that memory? I carried the same aesthetic throughout those designs to keep a consistent look.
