For a personal project I wanted to work, I created a brand that produce stationery related products. I wanted to focus on making the brand graphics based to exercise skills in Adobe Illustrator. I went with a comic/pop art inspired look for the brand because a lot of currently popular stationary brands feature more desaturated and minimalist looks. Therefore I wanted this one to really stand out against the competition. Pattern also played a large part as it provided a way to use my colour palette in a way that made all the designs cohesive, while still having unique looks. It also was a fairly simple way of making the products look “loud” and colourful.

The goal was to appeal to a younger demographic (ages 15-25) using a bold and vibrant graphic style. The brand is geared more towards individuals that love a good pop of colour and a little attitude to their stationery.
